Programming of frequencies to Kenwood TK-278

First Press and hold the light & dial key while turning on the radio. Hold until SEL appears on the display.

Then press TA key allows to program the frequencies. Use selector knob to choose channel to be programmed.

Then press PTT.

Enter RX frequencies using selector knob for KHz and selector knob + light key for MHz. If no channel is shown press LO button.

Then press PTT and go through the menu shows. If you want to change any options use selector knob to change. If TX frequency does not shows then press LO button then enter the frequency for TX. After the power option it shows the next channel for program. It continues up to 32 channels.

Then turn off and on again. Your TK-278 is ready for transmission.
